The problem: Monochrome fonts in a PDF file do not print correctly on to cards

Card Printer systems affected include:

• Datacard CR805 Retransfer Series Card Printer
• Datacard CR825 Retransfer Series Card Printer

Solution
To print black text with the highest quality:

• Ensure the black text on the card design is pure black
• Ensure the application is setup not to print the image as a bitmap
• Ensure text is to be printed as black
• Ensure color is set to Composite RGB for all card printing

Each application/software is different, but should follow the above rules if available.
