The event highlighted challenges and opportunities surrounding trusted identities in today's changing security marketplace.
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.—(July 21, 2015)—Entrust Datacard, in partnership with Information Security Media Group (ISMG), today announced that it hosted an exclusive security event centered around the theme of business transformation through trusted identities and secure transactions at The Leela Hotel, Mumbai, India on June 26, 2015. The event focused on the massive adoption of technology-enabled solutions, which has driven growth in associated risk sectors such as banking and finance, telecom, government, ITES, manufacturing, utilities, retail and e-commerce.
Leading CXO’s from different verticals participated in this event to explore why identity-based security must evolve — especially in todays threat landscape. The security event provided an ideal opportunity to discuss how digital identities will prove to be critical in enabling organizations to protect brand equity, trust, critical information and financial assets.
“This security event provided an ideal opportunity to discuss challenges and opportunities around trusted identities at a high level, with peers facing similar challenges, and to benefit from varied perspectives and experiences,” said Rajiv Singh, managing director, Entrust Datacard South Asia. “It was a great interaction with IT security stakeholders of different enterprise groups to understand the various challenges and requirements for sophisticated and scalable digital security solutions. Entrust Datacard is committed to contributing to the ever changing security scenario in today’s corporate landscape.”
In addition, Geetha Nandikotkur, managing editor Asia and Middle East for ISMG, led a select group of security heads through two panel discussions at the event that focused on security pain points including:
- Securing Your Digital Identities with Identity and Access Management - What’s Working, What’s Not and What’s Next
- Smart Ways to Secure Your Digital Platforms
- Why Digital Identities are Critical to Secure Digital Information
“It was reassuring to see security practitioners having a thought-provoking discussion around enterprise challenges surrounding protecting their digital identity and ensuring a secured transaction in an evolving threat landscape,” said Geetha Nandikotkur, managing editor Asia and Middle East of ISMG.
